FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Legitimate Publication Touts Media Pariah Jersey City, NJ, November 6, 2000 -- The rumors are true! Highly esteemed ad industry pub, AdWeek has stooped to unforeseen lows with its recent coverage of controversial ad and marketing column, The Lowbrow Lowdown, Commentary with Bite. "Kaye Kaye has a few things to say," begins the review in regards to the "weekly online, offbeat" column's cheeky author. As featured in AdWeek's October 30, 2000 IQ Interactive Report* the story continues, "On more than one occasion, Kaye's biting commentary has drawn blood. 'The stuff that I write seems to really stimulate people,' she says. '... I've been called a vampire.' " Recognized for her work in numerous advertising industry publications, the fang-free writer's column has been referred to as "very funny stuff..." by ClickZ network's president, Ann Handley, as well as "not bad for a girl," by Modern Humorist's Co-Editor, John Aboud. Still, AdWeek's acknowledgement of this rabble-rouser remains a riddle.
